Kanokkarn Manop graduated from Thammasat University with a degree in Russian Studies. She has a diverse background in international cooperation, social development, and local community engagement. Previously at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Kanokkarn coordinated sub-regional international initiatives among South Asian and Southeast Asian nations, focusing on multi-sectoral technical and economic cooperation.
In Lampang Province, she worked with vulnerable households and individuals. Her work extended to supporting children, older persons, families living below the poverty line, and persons with disabilities. Additionally, she is involved in a social project that promotes local media, creative communication, and civic engagement.
Kanokkarn is a part of the Just Economy and Labour Institute (JELI) as a Knowledge Management and Communication Officer.
